Both Esteban Ocon and Kevin Magnussen have been disqualified from the United States Grand Prix after the race, as both drivers had fuel-related penalties that forced the FIA to strip them from their points.

Ocon and Magnussen finished eighth and ninth respectively, scoring vital points for their teams in the midfield battle but are now stripped of those points, moving Sergio Pérez up to eighth, Brendon Hartley to ninth and Marcus Ericsson to tenth - that's the biggest points-haul in Hartley's F1 career!

With Renault scoring points with both cars in sixth and seventh, it leaves Haas trailing the French team by 22 points now with just three races to go as neither car of the American team could bring home points in their home race. On top of that, Romain Grosjean retired after just one lap after ramming Charles Leclerc and has two more penalty points on his racing licence, bringing him two points off of a suspension.
