Among the Finnish hills and trees is a race track, but due to the bankruptcy of its original owner, the track is slowly languishing under the Scandinavian snow, much to the disappointment of Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas. The Finnish driver would like to lend a helping hand, he tells IS.fi.

The 'Kymiring', if in good condition, could welcome MotoGP racing. Currently, the track requires renovation and is without a 'boss' due to the bankruptcy of its former owner. The Alfa Romeo driver recently joined a group of investors and is considering a takeover, at least, perhaps. "I have held talks with possible buyers to invest in the track, so there is a chance I might get in," the Finn tells us.

Although there may still be bears on the road. "I do want to know how things stand first," says the 10-time race winner. According to IS.fi, between four and five million euros would be needed to pull the circuit out of bankruptcy, topped by some two to three million euros in costs to renovate the track.
