Max Verstappen lost the semi-final to Lewis Hamilton, who advanced to the final with his double overtake at the British Grand Prix. There, the seven-time world champion took on Vettel.

However, Hamilton was no match for Vettel's overtaking performance in Austin. The German won the last poll with 56.7 per cent of the votes. The now-retired F1 driver battled for eighth position with Magnussen on the very last lap of the Grand Prix. Vettel managed to win the fight after an impressive overtaking move. Hamilton finished in second place with his double overtake on Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc at Silverstone.
