McLaren managed to grab the fastest pit stop in the final race of the season. Not only did it manage to give Lando Norris the shortest in Abu Dhabi, but it also managed to secure second place with Daniel Ricciardo.
The British formation clinched the championship for the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award victory in Abu Dhabi with a time of 2.32 seconds. Ricciardo grabbed second place with only a difference of one-hundredths, while Mercedes with Lewis Hamilton was another two hundredths off that.
Alpine also did good business. Indeed, Fernando Alonso only had to wait 2.41 seconds before he was allowed to drive off again. Red Bull Racing finished with Sergio Perez in fifth place. Max Verstappen, on the other hand, did not feature in the top ten.

It made little difference to the standings, however, as last week Red Bull already received the top prize. The team performed so well at the pit stops this season that the competition couldn't catch up with Red Bull.
