Red Bull Racing had a perfect race in Belgium. Despite starting from P14, Max Verstappen managed to win the race. Sergio Perez also took second place, giving the Austrian team the maximum possible score.
Christian Horner was very satisfied with the race weekend. According to the team boss, the Austrian team showed what it is capable of and will be heading for the next Grand Prix in the Netherlands with a good feeling.
"A dream result," Horner stated in conversation with Viaplay. "I never believed we could win that race with Max but so quickly he got into a controlling position. With checo there as well, a one-two finish and fastest lap, an amazing performance."
Horner enjoyed Belgian circuit
According to Horner, the Belgian track suited Red Bull perfectly. "This circuit has played to our strengths and for sure we didn't expect to be so competitive, a great performance I think one of our biggest ever wins."
