Former team principal of Alpine, Oliver Oakes, has been seen in the Formula 2 paddock at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, as stated by Hitech.
Oakes resigned from the French team after the Miami Grand Prix, where it later turned out that it
could possibly be related to the arrest of his brother, William Oakes.
Oakes still owns the Hitech team. Although this team does not compete in Formula 1, it is active in Formula 2 and 3, meaning the presence in Imola is not too strange. As far as is known, Oliver Oakes is not suspected of anything himself.

Rumours suggest that William's arrest may be related to Dmytri Mazepin. The father of former F1 driver Nikita Mazepin was a major shareholder in Hitech before the war in Ukraine broke out.
These shares would have been sold to Oakes after Russia received sanctions for the war with Ukraine. However, according to rumours, Mazepin may never have completely disappeared from Hitech's picture, which could be the reason William Oakes was arrested with a lot of cash in hand.
