Press conference format changed: Teammates no longer together on Fridays

A logistical change in the Formula 1 circus today: the organisation of the press conferences at which the drivers have to appear during the race weekends is going to change.

Teammates will no longer appear together at press conferences on Fridays. This is probably for the purpose of promoting interest and creating more variety in questions and answers. The change will take effect from this Grand Prix weekend.

Verstappen alongside Schumacher

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will therefore no longer appear together at the press conferences. In the alternative format, which was announced in a press release from Formula One, Verstappen will answer his questions alongside Mick Schumacher this weekend.

Perez, in turn, will have to appear in front of the journalists with Carlos Sainz, and Lewis Hamilton will have Sebastian Vettel as his colleague next to him.
