In the closing stages of an already less than successful test weekend for Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton spun in the final hour of the afternoon session on Sunday.
360 degree spin for Hamilton
The world champion was fourth in the standings at the time, although times are not the main thing in the pre-season test. Coming out of the final corner, he lost control of the car and spun 360 degrees.
Hamilton was able to drive on, although the incident will not have been good for the tyres. The tyres were probably still too cold when Hamilton went on the gas a bit too enthusiastically for his warm-up lap.
