The second Grand Prix at Silverstone promises to be an exciting race. Formula 1 celebrates their 70th anniversary with this Grand Prix. The entire top ten starts on the yellow medium tyre, except Max Verstappen who opts an alternative strategy and starts from fourth place with the hardest tyre. Is this also going to be the Grand Prix in which Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton finally compete against each other at Mercedes? You can follow it all in the live blog of GPblog below!

Mercedes duel on their own (Liveblog below)

The duel between the two Mercedes drivers has not been fought often on the track this season. Often Hamilton managed to drive away in the initial phase to then win the Grand Prix dominantly. This weekend, Hamilton will be eager to win his second home race of the season, but he will have to catch up with his teammate first. In any case, they will receive little competition from behind.

Behind the two drivers are Nico Hulkenberg and Verstappen. The Dutchman will soon finish the duel with the German and will have a lonely race afterwards. A lot has to be done at Mercedes before the Dutchman can really fight for victory. Behind Verstappen, Hulkenberg will try to hold onto fourth place, but the midfield is very close together.
