Seidl not to speak about possible classification of future Formula 1 calendar

Formula 1 has finally started this month. With three races in a row in Austria and Hungary, F1 fans were treated to a lot of spectacle. Still, McLaren team leader Andreas Seidl warned that "triple-headers" should not become the new standard for future Formula 1 calendars.

"We are now going to do another three races in a row, with two races in the UK, which is not as bad for the British teams as it is for some others. Then we'll go into another triple-header, and I thought there would be another triple-header on the schedule later, which I think is going to be tough," said Seidl to Autosport.com.

Shortened season

Seidl understands that due to the shortened season, many races in a short period of time are necessary. But mentally a new standard, with a lot of races in a short time, would take its toll on the team members: "I don't think the biggest challenge is actually the work we have to do here on the track. Of course it's hard work too, but I think the biggest problem is to miss the families and the children. For every team member."
