Sophia Floersch survived a horror crash during a Formula 3 in Macau and recovered to run the Berlin Marathon at the end of September in honour of Anthoine Hubert. The Formula 2 driver died in a crash during the Belgium Grand Prix weekend, Juan Manuel Correa continues to recover four months on.

Floersch crashed after losing control of the car. The collision with the wall broke two neck vertebrae, but she recovered completely from the crash and has since returned to the cockpit. She decided to run a marathon in Berlin in memory of Hubert and the thoughts of Juan Manuel Correa.

"I never raced against Anthoine, but I knew him from carting and Juanj is a really good friend of mine. We raced against each other in F4 for two years and have been in contact for the last five years, so we are really good friends. I ran the marathon for them and tried to honour Anthoine. Juan was operated on that day too, so it was only for them," she says in conversation with Racers-behind the helmet.
