Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel both recorded DNF's at the conclusion of the Brazilian Grand Prix after the two Ferrari drivers collided. The two teammates banged wheels leaving both drivers with punctures and damaged cars. The man from Monaco gets his apologies in.

"It’s a real pity to end the weekend like this. I am sorry for the whole team, especially because today we were fast and we were looking good to bring home some decent points. It had actually been an exciting race for me. Starting from the midfield, I enjoyed fighting my way forward and was satisfied with the way things were progressing," Leclerc said.

The crash combined with Max Verstappen 25-point race means Leclerc has lost his lead over Verstappen in the battle for third place. It also means Vettel can no longer finish third. The Dutchman has an 11-point lead going into the final race of the season. A race in which Leclerc is determined to recover some losses.

"We will move on from this in any case and continue to work together in the best way. Now it’s time for us to focus on Abu Dhabi to end our season in the best possible way," Leclerc concluded.
