The sponsorship of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing's junior F1 team Toro Rosso has gone up by 1,238% to $32.1 million in the 13 years since the energy drink brought the team. Red Bull brought the outfit from Paul Stoddart in 2004 at which point it was closing to folding.

Red Bull Racing has since gone onto win the championship on four occasions, who have since won one Grand Prix.

The movement helped to boost the team's sponsorship and following the race victories they peaked at $48.5 million in 2015.

The team's biggest sponsor is Honda who supplies the 1.6 litre V6 turbo engines to Toro Rosso, with an estimated $25 million paid annually.

Red Bull Racing are third currently in this year's constructors' championship, although they are over 200 points below second-place Ferrari in the standings.
