Max Verstappen says that he would be two tenths quicker than both Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc if they were to compete in equal machinery, despite the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing driver taking the fewest wins out of the three this season, and sitting lowest in the three in the championship standings.

However, Verstappen has managed this in a Red Bull Racing car, which is the slowest of the three, with Leclerc's Ferrari and Hamilton's Mercedes on a different level right now, making it difficult to determine who the best driver is.

The young Dutchman told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: “I personally feel that if I’m in the same car, I can go two tenths of a second faster than them.

“When I saw that lap [Leclerc’s Singapore pole] again, I thought ‘well, there really is some time to be gained there,’ I don’t want to sound arrogant, but as a driver you have to think you’re the fastest.”

Who do you think is the fastest? Who would win in a race with equal cars? Vote below!
