Formula 2: Injured Correa transported from Belgium to UK

Juan Manuel Correa, who was involved in the fatal crash during the Saturday's Formula 2 race has been transferred from Belgium to a hospital in the United Kingdom. Correa collided with Anthoine Hubert who passed away. The statement confirmed that Correa is still in Intensive care.  

"Juan Manuel Correa will be transferred today to a specialised Intensive Care United located in the United Kingdom. Juan Manuel will continue his recovery process under the care of a specialised team. Juan Manuel and his family want to thank the CHU Liege Intensive Care team for their exceptional care and medical treatment over the past few days," the statement said. 

The 20-year-old is racing in his debut Formula 1 season and has picked up two podiums during the 2019 Formula 2 season. Little is know about the exact condition of Correa, but the statement confirmed details will be announced at a later stage.
