Live | Formula 1 2019 Belgian Grand Prix FP2 - Can anyone beat Ferrari?

2019-08-30 13:00:00 by Louis Shaw

Ferrari dominated FP1 this morning and are looking like the team to beat this weekend. The high-speed circuit at Spa suits their car and they look like they could be on track for their first win of the season. Mercedes will hope to bounce back from a poor session and Red Bull will hope to continue to split their rivals.

Sebastian Vettel topped the time-sheet in FP1 and will be hoping to put in an equally impressive display during FP2. The Germans last race victory was 12 months ago and the Ferrari driver will be desperate to win here on Sunday.

Charles Leclerc wasn't far off his teammate and will want to be the one that tops the leaderboard in this session.

Red Bull looked fast this morning and Alex Albon wasn't far behind Max Verstappen. They will hope to get closer to Ferrari whilst keeping Mercedes behind them.

Lewis Hamilton had some issues in FP1 and will hope the team fix the car in time for FP2. The Mercedes struggled with tyre temperatures and will be wanting to get back on top in this session.
