More changes to the grid! George Russell starts from the pits

George Russell will now start from the pits for the Austrian Grand Prix. The Williams mechanics needed to change the front wing spec overnight and therefore they're forced to start Russell from the pitlane.

The grid ahead of Sunday's race continues to get a shakeup. A large number of drivers, including Lewis Hamilton, will not start from their qualifying position after picking up penalties.

Russell was already on a penalty after blocking Daniil Kvyat's flying lap during Q1. The British driver was already placed at the back of the grid with teammate Robert Kubica.

With Russell, the list of drivers who have to start at a different place is only getting bigger. Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg were also further up on the grid and Lewis Hamilton also got pushed back by hindering Kimi Raikkonen. In addition, Alexander Albon and Carlos Sainz start at the very back, because of penalties they had already taken prior to the weekend.
