Ferrari have introduced new engine parts to its SF90 for the Canadian Grand Prix, including a new turbocharger and MGU-H.

The Italian team brought forward the new power unit to the Spanish Grand Prix last month and it waited until this week to introduce the new turbo and MGU-H to both of its car.

Ferrari now have a complete second-spec power unit for Canada, but couldn't keep up with Mercedes in the first practice session of the day, with the Silver Arrows once again dominating.

Haas and Alfa Romeo, who are both customer teams of the Italian manufacturer, had already made the change to a new set of engine components two weeks ago for the Monaco Grand Prix.

But it's not just Ferrari with the changes. In fact, all four of the F1 engine suppliers have brought something new to Montreal for this weekend. Honda have given Red Bull and Toro Rosso a new energy store and control electronics.

Renault have given Nico Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo new energy stores as well, with Mercedes, Racing Point and Williams all having a new combustion engine, turbo and MGU-H for the weekend.
