Mercedes have picked fewer sets of hyper-softs than their close rivals for the next Grand Prix in Russia...

The championship leaders, Mercedes will have only picked seven sets of hyper-softs for each car for the Russian Grand Prix.

Ferrari have given Lewis Hamilton's arch rival Sebastian Vettel nine hyper-softs for the Grand Prix for Russia.

Renault are the team that have selected the most sets of the tyre with 10 each for Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz.

Pirelli, like they did in the last Grand Prix in Singapore, have nominated its two softest tyres (ultra-soft and hyper-soft) then skipped the super-soft and offered the soft tyre as the hardest tyre for the race in Russia.

Hamilton will be looking to extend his advantage from 40 points to even more above Vettel, as he looks to secure his fourth world championship as early as possible and break the hearts of Ferrari.
