Buemi takes pole in Berlin

Stoffel Vandoorne had a good pace all weekend and he managed to carry that through to qualifying. Together with Sebastien Buemi, Dan Ticktum and Sam Bird, the DS Penske driver advanced to the semi-finals. There, Vandoorne was eliminated by Buemi, who advanced to the final.

In the final, Buemi faced Bird, who had eliminated Ticktum in the semi-finals. The Jaguar driver failed to match Buemi's pace and so it was the Swiss who put his Envision Racing car on pole for Saturday afternoon's E-Prix.
