Mercedes last to come up with line-up for first day of testing

Mercedes have just become the last of the 10 teams to announce its line-up for the first day of testing in Bahrain on Twitter. It will take place on Thursday.

Mercedes will start on Thursday with George Russell at the wheel. After the lunch break, Lewis Hamilton takes over from him. On the second day, Friday, the roles are reversed: then Hamilton starts, followed by Russell after the break. Both drivers are also in action on the closing Saturday, with Russell opening the ball and Hamilton ending the three-day test in the Mercedes cockpit.

Still talking about porpoising?

Mercedes hope to no longer suffer from porpoising in 2023. The first day of testing may already show whether bouncing is indeed a thing of the past.
