A new season means new cars with new liveries, new racing suits as well as new helmets. The latter we saw unveiled by several drivers over the past few days.

Max Verstappen, among others, showed the world the new design of his helmet and Lando Norris did the same a few days ago with a special 'exposed carbon' helmet. Now it is the turn of rookie Oscar Piastri, who will drive for McLaren this season.

A colourful appearance

Many new things await the Australian driver and during the test days the real adventure starts for him. To at least get the season off to a good start, he has now unveiled his 2023 helmet on Twitter: a colourful appearance dominated by neon yellow and bright red. Furthermore, the helmet is partly blue with the Australian flag and Piastri's number 81 on top.
