Steiner: "Other teams can not believe how much bad luck we have"

Haas have had more than their fair share of bad luck this season, and it all started in Australia with the two pit-stop errors. This has continued through to the most recent Grand Prix weekend in Montreal when Grosjean hit a groundhog.

Boss Gunther Steiner claims other teams can’t believe just how much bad luck his team have had in the first half of the 2018 season. He says: “Other teams came to me and said: ‘what did you do to earn all this?’

“There were twenty cars on the track, and we are the ones who drive against it. Also with the nose of the car instead of a wing. If you would try that, you are a thousand years away without being able to.

“We do not deserve that bad luck, but we have to keep working hard and hope that happiness will find us again.”

Haas are probably a little too far back to be thinking about finishing in fourth, but they're equal on points with Toro Rosso and not far behind Force India. They have plenty to fight for going into the triple-header.
