Alonso's victory in Le Mans has led to the Spaniard coming out and saying he is to focus on the 'triple crown' and to do that, it is likely he will retire altogether from Formula One.
The Le Mans champion is currently completely unhappy with F1.

Alonso has also told McLaren CEO Zak Brown about the potential switch to IndyCar, meaning he would be parting ways with McLaren.
Since McLaren's engine supplier switch from Honda to Renault, things haven't been great for the Woking originated side.
The chassis has been a let down for the side this season and has had a big impact on their performances and results.
Martin Whitmarsh, the former boss of McLaren, has been contacted over a potential return to the side.
"People at McLaren said they would send me a letter about the situation," Whitmarsh revealed.
"I told them not to do that to me, but to send it to Mansour."
