A hard crash for Graham Rahal in the Indy 500 happened when things went wrong during the pit stop of the American. The left rear tyre wasn't fastened properly and while Rahal was racing on the track at full speed the tyre came loose from the car and Rahal crashed hard into the wall.
The tyre that bounced over the track didn't cause any more casualties, although it did end up on Daly's nose.
