Dakar Rally 2021 results stage two | General classification leader loses a lot

The first results are in for the second stage of the Dakar Rally 2021. Joan Barreda Bort won the second stage and also takes over the lead from Toby Price, who was far away in the general classification.

The first result of the Dakar Rally is in. After the prologue and the first stage it was now time for the second stage in Saudi Arabia and it's Spaniard Joan Barreda Bort who took off with the victory and immediately takes the lead in the general classification.

Former general classification leader Toby Price had a worse day. He quickly got into trouble and eventually lost 32 minutes to today's leader. As a result Price dropped to 15th place in the general classification.

The second stage with the cars was won by Nasser Al-Attiyah.
