Accident in Bahrain
Grosjean crashed very hard during the GP in Bahrain, crashing into the wall at more than 200 kilometres per hour and his car caught fire. He managed to get out of the burning wreckage himself and was taken to hospital immediately afterwards.
The former Haas F1 driver suffered severe burns on his hands and regularly updated his fans about his recovery. Just before Christmas Grosjean received great news. After the driver underwent surgery on his left hand earlier in December, two extra fingers have now been removed from the bandage.
Grosjean shows recovery
"Seven fingers back to normal. That's an hell of a Xmas present," writes Grosjean in his last Instagram Post. His right hand was already completely out of bandages and now his little finger and ring finger are added.
