Lewis Hamilton reacted via his Instagram to the fuss that had arisen as a result of his earlier message. In it he spoken about Bill Gates because of his vaccination policy and the driver sided with the anti-vaccination groups.
"I saw some reactions to my message about the corona vaccine and would like to make my thoughts clear. I understand that it could be misinterpreted. First of all, I didn't even see the reaction myself (I remember when I told my first lie, ed.) and that is entirely my own fault. I have enormous respect for the work Bill Gates does," said Hamilton on his Instagram page.
Not against vaccine
"Furthermore, I want to be clear that I am not against a vaccine and that I have no doubts that it may be important to combat the coronavirus. I hope for a rapid development so that human lives can be saved. However, after watching the video I had the feeling that there is still a lot of uncertainty about the side effects.".
