It happens more often that a race is stopped by a red flag. Normally this happens due to weather conditions, but the virtual 24 Hours of Le Mans is temporarily suspended due to server problems.

It will still take a couple of weeks before Formula 1 starts, but in the meantime we are entertained with lots of simraces. Also the showpiece of endurance racing will be ridden this weekend: the Le Mans 24 Hours.

The classic race was almost five hours away, but the race is now temporarily halted. The session suffers from server problems, which have to be solved before the race can continue again. All drivers of the fifty teams drive from home in the game rFactor 2 and not from one location.

More technical problems

It is not the first time during the virtual 24 hours of Le Mans that the game causes problems. Earlier the team of Fernando Alonso already dropped out because the Spaniard got a Stop & Go penalty in the pitlane, but meanwhile could not refuel due to a glitch. The car couldn't make another lap to fill up the fuel tank.

There are more high-profile names in the race, including Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. The two Formula 1 drivers, who drive for Team Redline together, are doing well. The team was in the lead in the race before the red flag was shown.
