'Organizers Italian GP aim for weekend with spectators'

The Grands Prix of Austria, Great Britain, Hungary and Belgium will in any case be finished without an audience, but in Italy the organization aims for a GP-weekend with an audience. That's what Algemeen Dagblad reports this weekend.

Sources would have confirmed to the Dutch newspaper that the promoters at Monza are gambling on admitting fans. Tickets are still sold through the website of the Italian circuit.

In almost all other Grands Prix this is more the case because of the coronavirus, but the southern European country is an exception.

However, the question is whether this is a feasible scenario, because the race weekend in Belgium is planned for the time being only one week before the Italian Grand Prix. The revised Formula 1 calendar is expected at the end of May.
