A legend speaks: F1 world champion, Indy500 and IndyCar Champion

He won the Formula 1 world championship once, for times an IndyCar champion and also stepped on the famous Le Mans 24-hour podium. Mario Andretti is one of the biggest names in motorsport.

The Italian American gets in the car with Peter Windsor who asks him about his career. Andretti won the F1 championship, four world titles in IndyCar and is to date the only driver to win the Indy500, Daytona 500 and the F1 championship. Together with Juan Pablo Montoya, he is also the only driver to have won in NASCAR, Formula 1 and the Indy 500.

He was the only person in three decades to be named American driver of the year. For the first time in 1967, then in 1978 and finally in 1984.
