Live | Formula 1 2019 Singapore Grand Prix FP2 - Who will be on top?

2019-09-20 12:30:00 by Louis Shaw

Max Verstappen was fastest in FP1 and the Red Bull driver will be hoping to back up that performance in FP2. Drivers will be more comfortable with the circuit now and we can expect some even faster times in this session.

FP1

This morning's session saw most of the top teams put in some really fast laps. The Red Bull looked really fast through the corners and Mercedes were fast considering they were using the hard compound tyre.

Valtteri Bottas crashed at turn 19 causing a red flag and will hope that his team can fix his car quickly and in time for him to get some laps in.

The Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel looked quick too with the German finishing the session second fastest but Charles Leclerc was down in 19th after he had the floor of his car replaced. He'll hope to be back near the top in FP2.

The midfield was as tight as ever and from what we've seen so far it is going to be a great race on Sunday.
