FP1

It was very damp at the start of FP1 with drivers using the wet tyre. There were three Red Flags with Kimi Raikkonen, Sergio Perez and Pierre Gasly all having incidents on track.

As the session progressed the track got drier and times were set using the inters. In the final 10 minutes of the session, Ferrari risked using the slicks and headed out on the mediums. This prompted other teams to copy them and led to a final lap shoot out for the fastest time.

Leclerc topped the session with Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris finishing in second and third in their McLaren's.

FP2

Teams will be hoping for easier conditions and it will be interesting to see if Alfa Romeo and Racing Point manage to fix the cars that crashed this morning.
