Alex Albon on "frustrating" Grand Prix weekend

Alex Albon finished the British Grand Prix in 12th place after qualifying an impressive 9th. The British-Thai would have hoped to have finished in the points but will gain confidence after racing cars at the top of the midfield. Toro Rosso looked fast with Daniil Kvyat managing to finish 9th after qualifying in 17th.

“It wasn’t an easy race for me managing the tyres," Albon said. "When the safety car came out some drivers got lucky, others didn’t. We had an issue with the car where we couldn’t pit or touch the car, so we had to stay out while others around us pitted. It was a frustrating race, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.”

Considering the 23-year-old is in his debut season in Formula 1, he has really impressed and will hope for more points finishes over the next part of the season.
