Haas believes that Rich Energy is still their title sponsor despite yesterdays statement from the company claiming that they had ended their contract. Haas took to Twitter to state their position after yesterdays comments were made.
“Rich Energy is currently the title partner of Haas F1 Team,” said team principal Guenther Steiner in a statement on Twitter.
“I cannot comment further on the contractual relationship between our two parties due to commercial confidentiality.”
It is thought that Rich Energy are disappointed with the results Haas have had this year and that this is the reason for their desire to pull out. Haas finished last season 5th and have dropped down to 9th in 2019.
It is a strange situation with both sides believing different things. We will update this article when we have more news.
