Hamilton under investigation for Verstappen incident during FP2

Mercedes have had a straight forward weekend at Paul Ricard so far, but Lewis Hamilton is under investigation for an incident during FP2 of the French Grand Prix weekend with Max Verstappen.

Hamilton lost control after a mistake at turn four causing him to hit a bollard and run off the track. The Brit returned to the track at turn five but just in front of Max Verstappen and the Dutchman subsequently ran off himself as he battled for grip.

Mercedes have continued their dominance of the World Championship, claiming a one-two in both practice sessions in France.

The incident is now under the investigation by the stewards, and Hamilton will be hoping he doesn't fall victim to the same fate as Sebastian Vettel for a very similar incident in Canada. Ferrari had their appeal rejected by the stewards on Friday and the result from the race stands.

What do you think is Hamilton safe? Or should he be reprimanded?
