Earlier in the season, Mick Schumacher got his chance to drive the Ferrari Formula 1 car. At the next test in Barcelona, Italian driver Antonio Fuoco will take the reigns.

22-year-old Fuoco will drive on the 14th and 15th May. He's likely to share the car with Charles Leclerc.

Ferrari's simulator drivers, Pascal Wehrlein and Brendon Hartley can both be experienced to participate in the test. The FIA states that the teams must have drivers who have driven less than three Grands Prix during two of the four test days of the season.

Fuoco has won three races in Formula 2 over the last two seasons. In addition, he is fully involved in the Ferrari simulation program. This makes the Italian a logical choice for the test days.
