Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez and Fernando Alonso: these three drivers have been on the podium together before in 2023. After the Miami Grand Prix, there was a nice little scrap between the two two-time F1 world champions in the cooldown room. Verstappen came back to a prediction the Aston Martin driver made a day earlier.
Earlier this season, Alonso correctly predicted in Saudi Arabia that Verstappen would be back in second place after overtaking on lap 25. The 41-year-old Spaniard also made the same prediction on Saturday in the United States.
After the race, Verstappen says to Alonso: "You said lap 25." At that, the number three from Miami starts laughing: Verstappen: "I looked at the dashboard and I thought 'oeh'. Alonso: "You won't be able to do that in Monaco."
