Horner pleased after Red Bull FP1 dominance

Christian Horner is pleased after his drives finished 1st and 2nd in this mornings practice session. But he remains cautious reminding fans it is only "Thursday morning."

Regarding Verstappen's reversing incident he suggests: "I've seen worse, I'm surprised it got reported to the stewards."

If the stewards review the issue and go on to believe it is dangerous, the Dutchman might receive a grid penalty. This wouldn't be ideal for Red Bull who will race their 250th Grand Prix in Monaco.

Red Bull remained at the top of the tree for most of the session. Lewis Hamilton came in with a fastest lap half-way through the session. But this didn't stay at the top for long as Verstappen and Ricciardo found a way to go faster.

The hypersoft tyre is very advantageous and the Red Bull boys used this to their advantage. The Austrian based team have certainly placed a marker and a warning message in the weekend which they are expected to win.
