Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon are very happy with the new livery of their Formula 1 car in 2021. The Alpine F1 Team presented the new livery on Thursday morning and the drivers are very happy with it.
The Alpine F1 Team takes over in 2021 from Renault, which has failed to meet expectations in recent years. With a new name and new management, the team hopes to make the step to the top. The car to take the first step is the A521.
Drivers happy with their new car
The A521 will compete in Formula 1 in 2021 and its black colour pays homage to the 1975 A500 F1 prototype. The livery is temporary, as Alpine immediately announced that it was not the official livery for 2021. That will only be unveiled later this year, before the start of the season.
Much of the livery will remain the same, however, and that is a good thing because Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon are very happy with the colours of their new car. Alonso hopes to return to Formula 1 and take one more shot at the world title, while Ocon will hope to make more progress as he continues his development with the team.
