Italian GP

"Yesterday I received an expected phone call from the president of the Automobile Club d'Italia, Angelo Sticchi Damiani. He confirmed that the Italian Grand Prix will be held on September 6 in Monza", said the mayor Dario Allevi.

Contract extended

"Although many circuits of the calendar had to leave this year because of the coronavirus, Monza will have an F1 race behind closed doors. Formula 1 has also decided to extend the contract by one year", Allevi continues.

So good news for the Italian Grand Prix. "The cars will continue to race through the Temple of Speed until at least 2025", the mayor concludes.
