Charles Leclerc is one of the Formula 1 drivers who currently gives a face to sim racing. Together with drivers like Lando Norris and Max Verstappen, Leclerc can be found online and he really likes it.
"I already had a simulator, but I didn't really use it very much. Now you're obliged to stay at home and then you find out that it's quite fun. I didn't expect that I would like streaming on Twitch so much, but with the fans I can really be myself'', says Leclerc in a video conference followed by L'Automobile.
Leclerc versus Verstappen
Leclerc indicates that fans can see the real Charles there, but still the Leclerc who never wants to lose. ''The F1 2019 game is a bit more arcade than the simulations, but I like it and the circuits are very realistic. It is the best we have in this time and I think that it can't hurt to keep your reflexes and concentration sharp''.
When we will start again is not yet known, but Austria seems to be ready for it. However, Leclerc still has some revenge there. ''Last year I lost to Max there, but because of that I have learned to be much more aggressive and that paid off immediately at Silverstone'', the Ferrari driver concludes.
