Lewis Hamilton to be without key personnel for the next two Grands Prix

There's a significantly high chance that Lewis Hamilton will be crowned a sixth-time world champion in the next two races. But for those next two races in Mexico and the United States, Hamilton will be without his racing engineer Peter 'bono' Bonnington. The British engineer can't attend the races due to a personal medical procedure according to reports from Motorsport.com

Marcus Dudley, the regular performance engineer at Hamilton, will take on the task. Dom Riefstahl, the head of the support team at the team's factory, takes over the role of Dudley in Mexico.

In recent years, Bonnington played a key role in the four title victories of the five-time world champion on behalf of the Silver Arrows. The collaboration dates back to 2013, when the Brit started working for Mercedes.

Mercedes expect Bonnington to make a return to the Formula 1 paddock when the circus visits Brazil. Hamilton needs to outscore Valtteri Bottas by 14 points in order to be crowned champion.
