Mexican GP start Movember-campaign

The organizers of the Mexican Grand Prix have started a Movember-campaign for their race in October, hoping that several drivers will show up with a Keke Rosbergesque moustache.

The race, which takes place on the 28th of October in Mexico City, might not actually be in November, but the organizers will still want to raise some awareness via the lip-hair.

Justin Coghlan, co-founder of Movember, explained the decision.

"Mexico and moustaches go together well, so we can't think of a better place for our campaign," Coghlan told FormulaPassion.

"In Formula One, there have been many champions with a passion for moustaches, like Graham Hill, Nigel Mansell and Keke Rosberg.

"We can't wait to see how many people in the business will grow a nice moustache for the weekend."

No drivers have confirmed to be participating in the campaign yet, but expect a big amount of moustaches in the Mexican crowd. Chase Carey, CEO of F1-owner Liberty Media, has a beautiful curly 'stache already, but he won't be so special come the Mexican Grand Prix.

The idea of someone like Max Verstappen or Lance Stroll having a thick moustache is really funny as well, so let's hope drivers will participate in the campaign!
