Max Verstappen 's victory in Miami impressed almost everyone. The Dutchman was also praised during the Ziggo Sport Race Café after the race.

After a failed qualifying session, Verstappen had to start from ninth place. However, the race went smoothly, and with good strategy, the 25-year-old championship leader managed to take the lead in the race. His teammate Sergio Perez could not make a fistful, finishing second.

Former Formula 1 driver Robert Doornbos saw a very tormented Verstappen during the race: "Over the board radio, he was very commited. His engineer even had to tell him, 'Leave it to us'. He was so busy trying to make a difference."

'He had the calm and composure'

Formula 1 commentator Olav Mol is also very positive about the two-time world champion: "He had the calm and composure. This was just a masterclass. Now if you want to show how to do it. Especially in the beginning it was obviously very busy and a smart choice with the hard tyre."
