RUMOUR: Ferrari to contribute €20.000.000 for Ronaldo's transfer to Juventus!

Italian news source Il Sole 24 Ore has claimed that Ferrari will pay twenty million euro's to ensure that Cristiano Ronaldo will move from Real Madrid to Juventus in Italy, as the carmaker can then use the Portuguese as their poster boy.

An interesting little detail; Maurizio Arrivabene, team principal at Ferrari, is a massive Juventus fan.

There has been no reaction as of yet out of Maranello, but the Italian branch of Motorsport has serious doubt about the report. They argue that a brand of the status of Ferrari doesn't need a famous person to be their star man to promote the brand, simply because Ferrari is thát known. It's hard to disagree with that.

That kind of fee could also land you the services of an F1 driver like, let's say, Daniel Ricciardo. The whole Ricciardo-to-Ferrari switch has died down a little after picking up steam after the Aussie's win in China, as Ferrari now look to be set to sign rookie Charles Leclerc for the coming two seasons.
