Ferrari to have engine upgrade in Canada

Spain is usually where teams make cosmetic changes to their cars, but the Canadian Grand Prix is usually when most teams install their internal upgrades, and Ferrari are reportedly bringing a 20 horsepower upgrade for their car when the F1-circus arrives there.

Honda and Renault already announced upgrades to be installed in Canada. Renault are said to bring 30 more horsepower to their clients, while Honda are injecting their engine with 40 more horsepower. According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Ferrari have a smaller upgrade package of around 15-20 horsepower.

Renault are the only ones to have an MGU-K upgrade lined up as well so far. That upgrade was initially planned for Canada as well, but the French team aren't happy with the reliability of the unit yet. That might delay the upgrade being rolled out.
