Plenty happened on Saturday in Barcelona, but the main act is yet to come: the Spanish Grand Prix will be held on Sunday. For those who have overlooked the schedule, we clarify exactly what time the race starts.

What time does the Spanish Grand Prix start?

At 14:00 the lights will jump out and Max Verstappen will try to overtake polesitter Charles Leclerc. The drivers have repeatedly stated that overtaking is difficult at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, so a good start could prove crucial.

If the Dutchman is lucky, he will therefore come out of the first corner as leader of the race. However, he will have to be wary of Carlos Sainz, who will try to provide teammate Leclerc with back up.

Meanwhile, Sergio Perez must fight his way to the front in an effort to defend his teammate and get a strong result for himself and Red Bull Racing. To do so, he will have to deal with Sainz and George Russell.
