Max Verstappen competed in the 2012 World Karting Championship. The Dutchman was in a good position to win the title, but a mistake in the KZ2 final in Sarno made him miss out. Both Max and Jos Verstappen remember what happened there like yesterday.

It was the first race for Verstappen in a switched kart. Max was in the lead after the start but was then overtaken by the number two. "I wanted to overtake again immediately, but that didn't work out well in the end. It was something like 26 laps about that final, so I could have easily waited."

It resulted in an angry Jos Verstappen. The former Formula 1 driver threw all his stuff in the bus and left directly with Max towards home. When Verstappen jr. kept on nagging in the bus, he even dropped his son off at a gas station and continued the trip himself. Check out the whole video above!
