Valtteri Bottas' time at Mercedes has come to an end. After it was confirmed he had switched to Alfa Romeo for 2022 George Russell will take over from Bottas. Looking back at Bottas' time at Mercedes, this video goes through his top five moments at the German team.

Azerbaijan 2017

This was one of the few times team orders went Bottas' way. The crazy race saw Riccardo streaking away to victory despite starting 10th. Lance Stroll competed for the podium in a Williams. Lewis Hamilton request for Bottas to hold up the chasing pack was denied as Bottas chased Stroll for second-place. He made sure the decision was correct by taking Stroll on the finish line. It was a decent result for the Finn as he continued to adapt to life at Mercedes.

Azerbaijan 2019

Sticking with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Bottas continued his superb start to the 2019 season by winning his second race from the first four Grands Prix. It was a great weekend for Bottas, who beat his teammate to pole position. Hamilton challenged in turn one and two, but once Bottas held him off there was no looking back and this result sent him to the top of the Championship.

Austria 2020

What a better way to send a message out at the start of the season than strolling to victory, and beating your teammate in style. Peformances like this came few and far between for Bottas, but he showed what he was capable of by winning the delayed season opener. He led every lap in the race. A reminder that maybe he's a better driver than what he has credit for.

Australia 2019

Bottas' start to the 2019 season was strong. He was victorious at Albert Park. He had the lead early in the race, and never looked back. In the aftermath, he made a well-known quote: "To whom it may concern, f*ck you." The new season had arrived, and so had Bottas 2.0.

Russia 2017

There's nothing like your first F1 win. After filling the boots of Nico Rosberg, Bottas secured his first win at the fourth time of asking for Mercedes. Bottas was officially underway at Mercedes.
